I would never have thought loss and grief would be so painful and hard. I’ve never felt like this. I’ve never been through anything like this. This is awful. I feel empty, lost, and alone. Am I going to make it through this?
Coping with the loss of someone you love is one of life’s biggest challenges. Knowing how to move through grief allows you to spend less time in the worst part.
To heal, you must change your behavior, which might be uncomfortable and overwhelming. You can either do something about it or not. It is your choice.
I learned that in order to characterize our life as meaningful, we must make small and definite changes in our way of thinking. We must carve out our own path and take full responsibility of changing habitual behaviors. We must take action and have goals to lead us down a new positive path in life.
